Your Art Marketing Plan

A working workshop for building your one-page marketing plan

Build your one-page ongoing marketing plan for the month ahead, and know exactly how to rebuild it every month after.

Plus, get a template for layering an event-focused plan on top when a show or sale is on the calendar.

This is a marketing plan, not a promotional calendar.

Don’t confuse the term “marketing” with a few posts on Instagram or the intention of sending an email now and then.

Your plan has to include everything else that supports those promotional pieces.

Your pricing is marketing. Your inventory is marketing. Your artist statement, your website, your follow-up with the collector who came to your last opening. All marketing.

Once you see the full picture, you realize that you’re already doing a lot and are better able to see  what’s missing.

That’s what this workshop is for.

What you’ll leave with

By the end of the workshop, you will have:

This isn’t a lecture with slides that you’ll get to “later.”

It’s a working session where you build the plan before signing off.

In the workshop …

We’ll spend 2.5 hours together, live, working through:

This is for …

Ambitious visual artists who want a real marketing plan they’ll actually use, and who are tired of piecing one together from social media advice.

Especially useful if you:

  • Are posting and sending emails just to feel like you’re doing something, with no plan behind it
  • Have a marketing routine that lives mostly in your head, and you know it’s costing you
  • Show up strong for upcoming events, and go quiet in between
  • Want a system you can customize whenever you plan in under an hour
  • Have a show, sale, or open studio coming up and want a smarter way to promote it

LIVE WORKSHOP

Your Art Marketing Plan

$97  $79 through August 30

Live sessions, replays, templates, workbook, and everything listed above

I have taken other planning workshops and they have been totally overwhelming and just left me frustrated or freaked out and running in the other direction.

Your workshop was nothing like these and a wonderful, productive experience.  Not overwhelming at all!  I went from skeptical on the first day to completely loving your methods and systems by the last day.  I walked away from it with a plan in hand and a fresh, “I can do this” attitude.

About Me

I’ve helped thousands of artists build sustainable, intentional businesses over more than two decades.

I’m the host of The Art Biz podcast, author of I’d Rather Be in the Studio, and work closely with a small number of artists each year through private consulting and my coaching group, The Next Opening.

I’ve taught one-page marketing plans in in-person workshops for years. This is the first time I’m offering it live online, with a new event overlay for shows and sales.

Thursday, September 10 at 1pm Eastern Time (New York). Approximately 2.5 hours, with a break.

It’s best if you show up live for this working session in order to get the most out of it.. If you can’t make it, the replay will be in our Learning Center, and you’ll have forever access to the workbook, templates, and companion guide because you can download them.

No. You’ll build the overlay using a sample event we provide. The countdown logic works for any event, so you’ll be able to apply it whenever you have one on your calendar.

This workshop assumes you’re already making and showing work and thinking about how to reach the right people. If you’re just starting out, you’ll still get value, but the framing is built for artists with some marketing miles on them.

This is a standalone workshop, not a coaching program. You get the plan and the templates. If you want ongoing accountability and a group working alongside you, that’s what The Next Opening is for.

I am happy to answer specific questions at the end of the workshop, but private consulting isn’t provided. I’m happy to talk with you about options for that after you’ve built your plan.

Absolutely. If you find this isn’t what you expected (please carefully read everything here), you can request a refund within 7 days of the live program or your purchase, whichever is later.
