Art Career Purpose

I was quite taken with the story behind Laura Lein-Svencner’s painting featured in today’s Art Marketing Action newsletter. Entitled Purpose, Laura told me more about it:Svencner

Actually it is so true to the title. I had decided this year, 2006, that I was going to face my fear of driving into the city and I have, I joined the Chicago Artist Coalition which has a on line gallery if you’re a member and with that now I’ve had three venues. So for me the piece of art work has be a guiding post.

To Chicago for Purpose

I love it! Not only did she want something to happen, Laura made a piece of art to help her envision it.

This reminds me of what Coach Rachelle Disbennett-Lee calls “Prosperity Boards.” She encourages all of her clients to make one. Read about prosperity boards and listen to Coach Lee’s radio show on the subject. Prosperity boards help you see your goals with clarity.
