You’ve been doing this long enough to know that information isn’t what’s missing. What you need is someone who will sit with your specific situation — your art, your goals, your constraints — and help you think it through.

This is that.

Over the course of six to eight months, we’ll look at your business as a whole, identify what actually deserves your attention, and build the kind of momentum that doesn’t fall apart when life gets complicated.

I bring more than two decades of working with artists to this, plus a background in museum education and curatorial work that shapes how I think about art, audience, and the long arc of a career.

The artists who seek me out for consulting tend to be at a crossroads. They’re not beginners, not stuck in the basics, but ready for the kind of thinking that moves something.

How it works

Every partnership begins with a detailed intake questionnaire and a full review of your website, social presence, and any materials relevant to where you are. We start the first session already oriented.

From there, the structure is designed around what you need. Some artists benefit from more intensive work early on and space to implement between sessions. Others prefer a steady monthly rhythm throughout. We’ll design something that fits where you are, not a fixed format that makes you conform to it.

Between sessions, you have access to me by email for questions that come up as you’re doing the work. This isn’t an occasional check-in. It’s a real partnership.

What this isn't

This session is not designed to cover everything at once, and we won’t resolve multiple unrelated issues in 90 minutes.

We’ll home in on your most pressing issue. If we resolve it with time to spare, we’ll use that time on whatever’s next for you.

This session does not include extended follow-up or implementation support after our session.

You can expect

  • A consulting partner who knows your business inside and out, and helps align it to the life you want to live and the artist you want to become
  • Clarity on what deserves your attention — and what doesn’t
  • Support through decisions you’ve been sitting with too long alone
  • A written record of key decisions and next steps after each session
  • Someone who will tell you the truth about what she sees

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I’d like to hear from you. Complete the questionnaire below and I’ll be in touch.

Before we talked, I was stuck on a couple of major studio projects. The Strategy Intensive helped me find a way forward. You reminded me that I already know what I'm doing, and you gave me concrete steps to move forward. I left feeling lighter! I feel inspired!

You reminded me to take the time to read, explore, sketch my thoughts, question myself, and experiment, and to let the process take me where I need to go.

You meet artists where we are and you guide us for who we are.
