Deep Thought Thursday: 1 word

What single word do you hope people use when they talk about your art?

One word that you’re looking for?

ONE word.

  1. Too bad it oculdn’t be more than one word, LOL. I would have said, “We want you” — at least that is what popped into my head.

I think I would like the word to be accepted.

You know it’s not easy starting out as an artist, always seeing all the great talent and feeling somewhat inferior to those you hold in high esteem, and no, I’m not talking about Monet, but today’s talents artists. It’s hard to not want to compare and think, “you’re not quite good enough to market yourself yet”.

So for me, to feel accepted into the artist community, today, would be wonderful. That’s the word for me.

  2. Kathryn Dyche Dechairo

Mine (as in it’s mine, I’ve got to have it). :0)

I like to think that people have a connection with the pieces that I create and that it draws them in some way.

  3. I recently got ” meticulous detail” & that was great…I’m happy with anything, as long as it is nice… so for now, “meticulous” is my word…(until the next victim says something better)…

  4. Linda Summers Posey

I love all the above, especially Clint’s and Burnell Yow’s — Deb G’s “Gottaownit” parallels my “Gottahaveit”!
