The Artis's Content Compass: Planning Workshop
May 6-8, 2025
Let’s get all of those ideas out of your head and into a plan so you can have more room for your art.
This workshop emphasizes your limited capacity and the need to prioritize the work you do in the studio rather than concerning yourself with the latest tweaks in algorithms.
It’s about being fulfilled—about enjoying the life of an artist and sharing that joy with others. It’s for you if …
- You're overwhelmed by all of the places you’re expected to be online.
- You're confused about where to spend most of your time and energy online.
- You find it difficult to set boundaries around your time – promoting on email and social media can be a time-suck.
- You have so many ideas in your head that you are paralyzed by what to share next. (Alternatively: You need ideas!)
- You don't want to be a nuisance to people who are following you.
Content is … Words and images you use to promote your art.

The Artist's Content Compass
Step by Step
- Analyze Recent Content
Review your recent social posts and emails to identify what resonated most—what felt most like you, what you enjoyed creating, what received the most engagement, and where you might shift your focus moving forward.
- Clarify Your Message
Identify content themes that align with your values, your art, and what your audience needs to hear—so you always know what to say. - Plot Key Milestones
Connect your content with important dates, events, and launches. Use your current calendar commitments to anchor your content plan in the rhythm of your life and business. - Organize Your Ideas
Learn to store and access your best content ideas—words and images—so you’re never starting from scratch or digging through your phone for inspiration. - Design a Content Calendar
Using my new Content Collage process, create a flexible 4-week+ schedule that maps out what to post, when, and where. It’s your visual guide to consistent, intentional visibility. - Establish a Weekly Workflow
Build a routine for generating, drafting, and scheduling content with ease. No more guesswork—just a system that fits your creative life. - Hold Yourself Accountable
Implement strategies that ensure you remain committed to and focused on your most critical priorities.

During your planning workshop, the pieces fell into place in ways that have eluded me for so long. I let go of my anxiety, I laughed at my constant pursuit of perfection, and I stopped procrastination—maybe because the fears were gone. After digesting the workshop, I immediately got to work doing necessary, but not fun, office catch-up. I was also able to do a projected schedule for blocks of time in the New Year….
The biggest take away? Look for a competent leader to give you guidance, structure, and access to other professional artists.

Can’t attend live? Block off time to do watch the replays and do the homework in the evenings.

Your Content Compass is a focused, strategic workshop rooted in thoughtful planning. It’s not about chasing trends—it’s about building a content plan that reflects your art and values.
This workshop isn’t for you if:
- You’re looking for quick-fix social media hacks or shortcuts to “go viral." We focus on authenticity.
- You don’t have a consistent studio practice to support content rooted in your real work. The art must be paramount.
- You aren’t ready to invest time in reflecting and planning your content intentionally.
- You want someone to tell you exactly what to post every day without considering your voice, art, or goals.
- You have no interest in using content as a tool for connection, storytelling, and visibility.

I can’t tell you how much the planning workshop helped me out. I continue cutting things OUT of my life in order to be able to focus more on my mental and physical health, studio work and a bigger project. This has been a wonderful course and has made me look at my life so much differently.
It’s been really, really valuable, and I always feel your spirit and presence in my life, cheering me on and urging me forward. You are frequently mentioned in prayer and in my Morning Pages. You are a gift.

Attending your planning sessions was one of the most valuable things I’ve done personally or professionally. I had about 45 balls in the air and felt like I was drowning.
Just identifying my projects on paper and then listing out the tasks required for each really helped clear my head. Then applying the project approach with a paper schedule and task list was huge.
I now have a solid plan of attack for my ambitious projects. Several people close to me have commented about how focused and energetic I’ve been since putting my plan into action.
