I’m giving away more books!
I’ve teamed up with Kevin Houchin, legal and branding counsel for creative people and businesses, for a quick survey. We want to hear from you about the state of the professional art business from the view of the artist.
Your information is optional and confidential. We will use it only to notify you if you win a FREE copy of my book (several will be given) or 2 hours of Kevin’s legal consulting.
Stop and do this right now.
This survey takes about 5 minutes and is posted here:

The more artists that respond, the better (and more interesting) the data. Please share this link soon and often. The survey will be live for about one week.
Thank you!

The survey won’t let me submit (I tried two different browsers but it kept saying that two questions were blank). I wonder why so few choices were given for online marketing?
Hi, I submitted the survey and was wondering if the results would be posted sometime. Interesting questions! I’m just restarting selling my art after a long hiatus but I think I’m on the right track. I’d love your book though! LOL! I just found your site last week so I have a lot of “catch up” to do! So far it looks like I’m on the right track! Thanks for the great info!
There’s a small bug with question 24. If you leave this answer empty/with white space because you live outside of the USA, you still get a prompt at the end insisting that you insert an answer to this question. I ended up putting in Washington State because I lived there for a year but that was 25 years ago!
Hi Alyson! I just took the survey. It was fun and fast. The questions were very relevant and smart. I would love to know the results you find after the final analysis. I hope I win another copy of your book. Thanks for the opportunity! 🙂 Melissa
I’m having problems with the survey too Alyson, it won’t let me progress past the first page until I’ve answered questions 5 & 7 which of course I have!
I rarely respond to surveys but I did look at this one. I didn’t submit it. I was APPALLED that they would ask for my income (they wouldn’t let me leave a blank space)and then expected me to leave my name. Leaving my name was optional but I couldn’t believe they would even ask after wanting such personal information! Was anyone else offended by this?
