Artist Planning Workshop 🟡 Live Webinar 🟡 September 9-10, 2025
$79 $59 through August 28
(Price increases to $79 on August 29)
Registration Opens August 12
I don’t know about you, but I constantly feel like my ideas are all over the place.
The only time I feel grounded was when I sit down, do a brain dump, prioritize, and get realistic about what I have the capacity to create.
It’s a process that brings me peace.
Hi, I’m Alyson Stanfield, former museum curator and educator turned art business coach.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve helped thousands of artists grow thriving, values-based businesses rooted in connection.
My specialty? Turning chaos into clear, doable strategy without sacrificing your creative spirit.
Our biggest wins at the art museums came from relationships we nurtured—whether it was with a potential sponsor, funding source, or donor.
Today, the same holds true in my own business: thoughtful personal follow-up turns fans into buyers.
The vast majority of art buyers aren’t transactional and prefer a relationship with the artist. You’re not just selling the art. You’re selling yourself.
Why “More Posting” Isn’t the Answer
Maybe you have been …
- Gathering tips and free advice instead of making a plan
- Posting like crazy, chasing trends, and praying to the algorithm gods
- Relying on visibility alone without building deeper connections
These are all temporary at best.
Algorithms change. Trends fade. What lasts is the trust you build with people who value you and your work.
Your art doesn’t just sell because of a beautiful feed. It sells because someone knows you, trusts you, and believes in your value.
And here’s the thing …
They're Already in Your Orbit
You’re already surrounded by people who care about you and your art.
Are you paying attention to them? Or are you waiting for them to stumble across your posts?
In all the pressure to stay visible—to post, promote, and push something new—it’s easy to overlook the relationships that matter most.
The ones that don’t need chasing.
The ones already in your orbit.
The ones that could blossom… with a little time, care, and intention.
This workshop is your invitation to reconnect with those people.
To shift your focus from broadcasting to belonging.
From visibility to trust.
From “putting it out there” to bringing people closer.
Because the path to more collectors isn’t always about reaching more people.
Often, it’s about nurturing the ones right under your nose.
I walked away from it with a plan in hand and a fresh, "I can do this" attitude.
Brilliant! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
You are invited.
This is not a training to watch later and forget. It’s a planning workshop.
Together over two sessions, we’ll map out the relationships in your art business — and turn them into a repeatable system for growth.
You’ll walk away with:
- A clear understanding of the 4 stages of your buyer’s journey
- Personalized next steps for deepening your connection with fans
- A framework for following up with confidence
- A weekly “People Day” system for consistent relationship-building
- Ideas for touchpoints that feel natural, not forced
- A renewed sense of clarity about who matters most — and how to honor them

You’ll love this workshop if …
- You want authentic marketing—sharing your art with genuine enthusiasm instead of feeling “salesy.”
- You’re ready to nurture relationships with followers, fans, and collectors instead of chasing the next trend or algorithm change.
- You’d like a clear and easy-to-follow plan for turning casual interest into loyal collectors without burning yourself out.

During your planning workshop, the pieces fell into place in ways that have eluded me for so long. I let go of my anxiety, I laughed at my constant pursuit of perfection, and I stopped procrastination—maybe because the fears were gone. After digesting the workshop, I immediately got to work doing necessary, but not fun, office catch-up. I was also able to do a projected schedule for blocks of time in the New Year….
The biggest take away? Look for a competent leader to give you guidance, structure, and access to other professional artists.

2 LIVE WEBINARS on SEPTEMBER 9-10
If you’re like me, you’re more likely to show up to a live session than to watch recordings. Wear your PJs, eat lunch, or skip the shower because I’m the only one who will be on camera.
ALL RECORDINGS + TRANSCRIPTS
Can’t make it live? Want to revisit for reminders and motivation? No problem. You’ll have access to these for the next few months or download them and keep them forever.
WORKBOOK
Follow along in the workshop workbook: filling in the blanks, writing your insights, or just doodling to stay focused.
BONUSES
Did you catch those two things I’m throwing in above? We won’t have time to dive deep into all the touchpoints or follow-up messages, but you’ll be able to use them long after the workshop ends.
I wouldn't have had the confidence or framework to really make the most of the opportunity—now I see how it all fits together.
You magically turned chaos into ah-ha moments and inspired hope and a can do attitude for me.
I have faith that I am being guided, supported and directed.
Artist Planning Workshop 🟡 Live Webinar 🟡 September 9-10, 2025
No. This workshop meets you at wherever you are.
We have artists of varying levels because … here’s the thing … What you learn in my programs is, well, essential. It’s stuff you will use throughout your career. As you grow, your approach just becomes more sophisticated.
The only caveat is that the program is designed for artists who are serious about their practice and ready to treat their business with intention. Whether you’re emerging or established, what matters is your mindset and your willingness to show up.
The webinars are 2 hours each, so a total of 4 hours. I suggest a couple of hours to prepare and a couple of hours after each session to put into practice what you’re learning.
Here’s the thing, though. This isn’t extra work. These are things you should already be doing to grow your art business. We’re just going to give it some structure and sprinkle in some intention.
Yes! Access through December 9 in our learning center or download everything to keep forever.
Most sessions are recorded, and the core content is available on-demand. You can watch or rewatch when it works for you—and you’ll always have access to the community for support.
*Coworking sessions and any breakout groups are not recorded.
Not in-session, but there’s Q&A time each day. Join Essentials (which includes this workshop) for more feedback and ongoing support and accountability.
Yes! If you’re an Essentials member, you’re already in.
Not a member and curious? Check it out.
Absolutely!
If you find the program isn’t right for you, you can request a refund on or before October 1, 2025. No pressure, no hard feelings.

Attending your planning sessions was one of the most valuable things I’ve done personally or professionally. I had about 45 balls in the air and felt like I was drowning.
Just identifying my projects on paper and then listing out the tasks required for each really helped clear my head. Then applying the project approach with a paper schedule and task list was huge.
I now have a solid plan of attack for my ambitious projects. Several people close to me have commented about how focused and energetic I’ve been since putting my plan into action.

I can’t wait to help you nurture the connections that are key to a sustainable art career and business.
