Optimize Your Online Marketing with Alyson Stanfield logo

Your primary job is to make art.

It's not posting to social media or looking for more likes.

This program emphasizes your limited capacity. It's not about balance.

It's about being fulfilled—about enjoying the life of an artist. To do that, you seek to optimize how you spend your precious time.

I was most impressed with your focused delivery of information, and that we can get answers to our questions in real time during the live sessions. You are so supportive of us but also are realistic in what you encourage us to do.

I feel more confident working with you. You are a major part of my business team.

I love the structure of the assignments, which helps me actually DO the work. You have given me so much for my hard-earned money. Before signing up with you, I was just floating around in a void, not knowing how to manage being a professional artist. I cannot even describe the difference you have made in my art life.

SESSIONS

The 4 training sessions center on big-picture topics that will help you—selected because they are substantial topics that might lead to more questions and, therefore, need more immediate feedback.

Our seasons are all about implementation, but we draw from our extensive library to provide these lessons when you need them. Topics selected especially for optimizing your online marketing are outlined on the schedule download.

The Art Biz Success team of Alyson and 3 artist-mentors are actively generating and participating in the conversations with our committed artists. We use the Mighty Networks platform, which you have access to throughout the season.

We facilitate live, productive Zoom sessions with breakout rooms so you can talk about what's on your mind with other artists.

You'll be encouraged to consider one focus project for the 4 months.

While the learning modules and recorded trainings are here to support you, please note that we emphasize taking action on what you already know because you're wiser than you give yourself credit for.

Thanks again for being so committed and engaged with your students.

When I signed up for this course I did not expect the level of attention you provide to us. It makes a huge difference and exponentially increases the value!

Despite being overseas for three months of the year, I had an incredibly successful year.

My painting sales increased 125% from the previous year! This was largely due to the skills I acquired in your programs.

Hi. I'm Alyson Stanfield.

I'm the chief instigator here.

In 2001 I left my safe job as a director of education at an art museum to pursue work that was more meaningful to me. I didn't know much about building businesses, but I knew how to create content because it was my primary role in the museum.

I built Art Biz Success by creating content on a blog (starting 2004), social media (since 2007), two different podcasts, and a weekly newsletter for 16 years. (It's “almost weekly” now. 😉)

This was long before I made a video. Long before we ever heard of reels,  Facebook, or Instagram.

I'm the author of I'd Rather Be in the Studio: The Artist's No-Excuse Guide to Self-Promotion, leader of Artist Planning Sessions, and the host of The Art Biz podcast. I love to work with clients with a growth mindset who challenge themselves with increasingly prestigious goals.

Gain clarity. Work smart.

This program is not about doing more.

It's not about consuming more lessons.

It's not about posting more, making more videos, or writing more emails.

This is about taking action: the right action for you at this moment.
