As John explains it, he has had to spend over $50,000 so far to defend himself against an imitator who has sued to have John’s copyrights revoked. Read the details.

During this 30-minute call, John will quickly state the facts of the lawsuit against him and describe how the outcome could affect the rights of other artists in the future.

  1. Dear John (of the most wonderful firebowls)…here is my idea. Run to a big company & sign a deal yourself for them to produce your firebowls internationally…Start with one…Beat this slimy crook at his own game. You will make money, you will bring your art to people around the world who need it ( like me in Canada), you will increase your international stature as an artist, & the big company will squash the knock-off bugs like this one easily…Run…(& thank you ArtBizBlog for posting this story…) p.s. we are repped in Canada by CARFAC & its affiliate CARCC who sues & handles stuff like this for free for the artist members. You all in the U.S. should have something like this…)
