Workshop report from Florida

I had a fantastic time with artists in Florida last weekend. On Saturday, it was a terrific group of about 60 or so students at the Ringling School of Art & Design. I learn so much from students and those who listen to my self-promotion will be miles ahead of their colleagues. I hope to do many more university workshops. (Contact me if you have a connection!)

Sadly, I have no pictures from the Ringling. Am hoping that the ones the staff took turn out and I can share.

On Sunday, I had a group of just 24 artists at the Art Center Manatee in Bradenton. Since this workshop was put together at the last minute, I was thrilled with the size. And, since it was so small, we had a ton of interaction. In fact, I believe at least two ArtBizConnection.com art-marketing salons formed as a result of the workshop. Here are some pictures taken after, sadly, some people had already left.

I’m flanked by Merrill Anderson and Sharon Crute, who are part of a group of 11 artists in an ArtBizConnection.com salon in Ocala. They drove 2.5 hours to be at the workshop.

  1. Thanks for the pic and mention Alyson! My head is swimming with information and I’m so inspired. Can’t wait to share my notes and your handouts with the salon…
