End of summer art list

In tomorrow’s Art Marketing Action newsletter, I’ll be talking about the art in your own community. I made my list of everything I want to see in the Denver metro area before the end of summer–with closing dates:

-8/26 Fang Lijun’s 15,000 “Heads” at The Lab at Belmar (15,000 heads!)

-9/2 American prints at Foothills Art Center

-9/5 Riva Sweetrocket pastels @ Boulder Library (done–amazing!)

-9/1  Mary Ehrin, Alan Feltus, Lani Irwin, and David Zwimmer at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

Do you have your list?

  1. Just been to see Anthony Gormley’s Blind Light at the Hayward Gallery last week, had to catch it before the end. Also on my list is the Turner watercolours, curated by David Hockney at the Tate Britain. I’m terrible at missing all the shows in London even though I live here.

  2. Check out denverarts.org for a list of what’s showing in Denver right now. I would also recommend the Charles Eames show at Emmanuel gallery and the Landscapes of Colorado show at Robischon/CVA.
