Commenting on Blogger

If you missed my rant on the new commenting system on Blogger, you can check it out here. In a nutshell, I was boycotting commenting on any Blogger blog because I could not figure the darned thing out. Carol Gillott of Paris Breakfasts came to my rescue. She enlightened me: All you have to do is enter your name in the Nickname spot and then a space for your URL comes up. Eureka!

It’s like they wrote that thing in secret code. But I finally have their number. Thanks, Carol.

  1. Well, I’m glad you’ve sorted it. 🙂 I didn’t ever understand what the problem was, since you didn’t actually describe what had changed in your post and I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary on Blogger. But your original post was useful anyway because it led me to Lisa Call and the complaint free pledge, which I took as a new year resolution. Trying my best!

Sorry, Tina. It was hard to explain, but a lot of people shared the pain. I, too, have taken the complaint-free pledge and am expecting my purple bracelet soon. In the meantime, I’m wearing an orange one.

  3. I gave up last June and decided to try again today 11/29/2012. After an hour of trying to get through the “maze” I am giving up again. It is just insane! No chat or e-mail for questions. What a joke!!!
