It only takes a single artist . . .

Aly_paula

Here I am with Paula Christen (on the right). Paula single-handedly organized the entire–and might I break for a moment to insert “and highly successful”–Art Marketing Action workshop in Winthrop, Washington.

Paula is proof positive that artists can do this themselves. In fact, the best workshops I’ve had have been organized by individual artists. (I can’t say that too loudly because Leslie Kelso at Brilliant Studio is doing a bang-up job for next week’s workshop in Wilmington, Delaware.)

Paula is also an example of an artist who is highly involved in her community and in working tirelessly on behalf of art.

Thanks, Paula!
