    This is one of those statements that sounds true and maybe even IS true in certain situations, but also has an equal and opposite reaction–so to speak! Limitations can be useful in that they force you to be creative and to push them. Thinking INSIDE the box–being bound–often means being that much more inventive with your givens since you cannot simply find givens you like better.
    And understanding limitations in this way is important if you are to be fulfilled. Constraints are a part of life, but they don’t have to hamper you. In fact, they can set you free!

      Gwenn: I completely agree with this! I’ve read a number of books and articles that mention this.
      I guess I was intending it to be for more “big picture” stuff like goals and vision, not for individual projects. I’ll try to be clearer next time.
